IV Fluid Warmer Warmer unit
Intravenous fluids should be administered as close to body temperature as possible, especially when hypothermia or shock is a concern. The Thermal I.V. is a small, lightweight warming unit that is easily placed over a standard I.V. line to warm the fluids to 100ºF. The unit is placed within 18" of the patient. Thermal I.V features include:
A flow rate up to 12 ml/minute
AC- just plug in and turn on
Electrical current stepped down to 12 volt for safety
Adjustable hanging strap
No separate cartridges needed
