The Ayres Non-Rebreathing system with scavenger adapter is:
- Designed for small patients, typically less than 15-lb
- An anesthetic breathing system which offers little resistance to respiration
- Generally less weight than re-breathing system circuits
- A means for actively or passively scavenging waste anesthetic gas
Connects in seconds to any Matrx anesthesia machine. The system delivers fresh gas through the anesthetic vaporizer to the patient. Conducts the expired gases from the patient, through the breathing tube, into the breathing bag, and out the scavenger adapter, through the hose and connector. The connector is attached to an appropriate active or passive scavenging system.
