Acepromazine is a generic form of PromAce. It can act as an aid in tranquilization and as a preanesthetic agent in dogs. Acepromazine tablets may be used as an aid in controlling intractable animal during examiniation, treatment, grooming, x-ray, and minor surgical procedures.
