Exel International's butterfly infusion set, or scalp vein set has a 23g x 3/4in. thin wall stainless steel cannula, that is siliconized for easy insertion. It has a 12in. tube with flexible wings that hold the needle in position and helps to prevent inadvertent pull out. This infusion set has a deep blue-colored hub for easy identification. Each scalp vein set in this box is latex free and individually packaged.

Perfect for little ones when giving SubQ
With littles kittens or the particular wiggly ones we use syringes with butterfly needle for SubQs instead of trying to poke a needle directly attached to the syringe into them. With the very small babies it is too difficult to do fluids from the bag so syringe is a must but these butterflies are an AWESOME giving a nice flow as well as nice length tubing. PERFECT and SHARP
