These blades take alot of the work out of floating a horse's teeth. The carbide metal is very hard and gives a razor sharp edge. This is the new standard in equine dentistry. Blade can be resharpened 3 times. Available in 3 different grits: fine, medium, and coarse. Medium is the most common grit used. Fits any standard flat headed float.
