The Oasis PDO suture with needle is a monofilament synthetic absorbable suture that is comparable to Ethicon™ PDS®. The PDO smooth monofilament suture has a gradual absorption rate between 180 and 220 days. It retains 50% of its tensile strength for up to 6 weeks. This suture provides excellent pliability and holding strength.
