As additional sizes of cages become avail- able it is becoming increasingly difficult to manage and store the full inventory of cages. The expense of keeping the current 24 cage sizes in stock is considerable. Use of cuttable cages means that less cages need to be stocked (particularly the short uncommon sizes), cage length can be adjusted quickly and easily for each patient during the procedure.
