Advocate Safety Lancets (28G x 1.8mm, 200/box) are single-use automatic lancing devices for capillary blood sampling. Simply twist off the top, press the end to the site and the spring-loaded needle automatically penetrates to the indicated depth and retracts for total safety. An excellent alternative to the traditional lancing device/lancet for "mobility challenged" individuals, where there is difficulty obtaining a large enough blood sample (especially in companion animal testing) or just because they are easier to use! Also designed for health fairs, lab use, clinics, nursing homes - anywhere multiple individuals need testing by medical professionals.
