The Hero„¢ Universal Microchip + Temp Scanner reads all ISO, 9, 10 and 15-digit microchips from any brand. This scanner also reads an animal's temperature if they have a BuddyID® ISO Microchip + Temp or other type of temp chip that detects and monitors an animal's body temperature. When scanned, both the animal's microchip number and temperature are displayed.
The Bluetooth® on the chip scanner instantly sends the chip number to any Bluetooth® device up to 25 feet away, which means no more manually typing microchip numbers into a computer. The entire chip number displays on one line and stays in the display for 15 minutes. The LCD lit display has a blue backlight with easy-to-read white font. This microchip scanner is 7 inches tall and features a battery icon on the screen and an auto turn-off to help save battery life. Comes with a protective carrying case and a test chip fob. FCC Tested and Certified.

To Scan: Push the button on the device to turn it on. Once ready to scan, hold down the button on the scanner and wave over the animal. Starting at the shoulder blades of the animal. If microchip is not found there, wave the scanner over the rest of the body of the animal to check for the microchip.
