Equicel Hemostatic absorbable dental gauze. For use in surgical procedures to assist in control of capillary venous, or small arterial hemorrhage when ligation or other conventional methods are not practical or effective.Equicel is a highly oxidized formof cellulose. Upon contact with the blood, it will absorb it andeventually dissolve into a gelatinous type material.
