Pharmaceutical Policies

We only sell Rx pharmaceuticals to licensed medical professionals and we do not fill prescriptions. No sales of pharmaceuticals are permitted to Florida.



Before you Purchase:


We require a copy of your medical license to purchase pharmaceuticals. We require a copy of your DEA license for any controlled substances. All 3rd party buyers need to submit an approval letter from the license holder before purchasing any pharmaceuticals. The letter should include length of use, persons and/or departments(s) permitted to use license, license holder contact information, address where items will be shipping, signature & date. Pharmaceutical's may only be shipped to a licensed address that is approved by your state Board of Pharmacy.

If you order a controlled substance a DEA Questionaire must be on file with us prior to shipment of pharmaceuticals.

We can only ship controlled substances to the address associated to the DEA license. We cannot ship to any other address.

Please send all license and documents to license@shopmedvet.com or they can be faxed to 888-415-1825. Failure to submit appropriate documentation may delay processing of your order.

Cold shipping may apply on some pharmaceuticals. No Return on Pharmaceuticals.

Other Restrictions:

Syringes and needles can only be purchased by licensed practitioners in the following states:: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island.

IV catheters, biopsy needles, and spinal needles require a medical license to purchase.

Q: I have a prescription from my doctor / vet, can I have it filled?

A: No, we sell pharmaceuticals exclusively to licensed medical and veterinary professionals. We do not fill prescriptions.

Q: How do you know if you need a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license for a product purchase?

A: Customers will need a DEA license for controlled substances. In the product description of all controlled substances, there is information regarding needing a DEA License.

Q: How do you know if you need a State License for a product purchase?

A: Customers will need a State License for pharmaceutical (RX) items. Upon checkout, a notification will alert you that one of the following products in your checkout is a Pharmaceutical. In the product description of all Pharmaceuticals, there is information regarding needing a State License.
