Supplements by injection may be necessary for patients whether it's for humans or animals who have a vitamin deficiency. In humans, a person who needs a vitamin supplement by injection may have a condition that leads to deficiencies such as a poor diet, diet restrictions, or various gut conditions that interfere with the absorption of vitamins in food. In animals, they may not have the ability to digest and absorb nutrients in their food.
