Our scalers differ from the conventional ultrasonic scalers. The piezo handpiece generates its ultrasonic waves via four ceramic plates subjected to high frequency alternation current. The electric mechanical efficiency of this system is much greater than that of traditional magnostrictive systems. There is very little heat released and it is possible to work with very little water spray.
